Can I get access to 911 data used in example

The cartography page has an example of hot spot rendering that uses a sample data set of 911 calls. It would be helpful to have access to the raw data in order to try the techniques out - and to use as an example in class. Is it possible to get the data?

Here is the link to the example on your site:

Thanks for any help,

Mapping Center Answer:

Our apologies, but we did not have permission to redistribute that data.  That sort of data is not typically available in a "in the public domain" form.  Since you are a .edu, you should have much better luck getting data from a local agency, even a campus log of calls.
