Removing text part of street labels

How would you remove the text portion of a street label, for example go from "I-95" to "95" and from "SR 23" to "23"?

It can be a permanent removal by editing or through a filter in the field, does not matter as long as I can produce number only labels.

Mapping Center Answer:

There is a toolbox on the geoprocessing resource center that I posted (and updated not so long ago) with a set of tools for managing label strings.  The URL is:

http://resources.esri.com/geoprocessing/index.cfm?fa=codeGalleryDetails&scriptId=15800

One of the tools extracts the numbers from a field like you describe having and puts them into another field.

These are all script tools, so if you're so inclined you can edit them.
