Printing Palette match problem

I print my mapping to 2 large format HP DesignJet 4000s and the layouts usually contain OS 10k raster tiles and a polygon mask set at varying % of CMYK Black and 40% transparency.
Over the past couple of months i have notice that these greys and the OS tiles have taken on a very noticable pinkish hue. This is happing to ArcGIS 8.3 user prints within our department not just mine. I have run through all the printer property colour settings from ArcGIS - sRGB, Adobe RGB etc but always get the same printing result. Plots from Adobe Illustrator and other software using the same grey tones are normal so the printers are fine.
The palette from ArcGIS I'm using to change symbology is called 'ESRI' CMYK. As I say, this is a recent occurrence but it does seem to be getting worse.

Thanks for your assistance

Mapping Center Answer:

It sounds like you need to contact ESRI Technical Support -- they have some great expertise in printing and output issues!  The direct link for submitting a support request to ESRI Support Services is as follows: http://support.esri.com/index.cfm?fa=homepage.requestSupport.gateway.
