Can't choose points in topology

I'm trying build a simple topology to verify that the verticies of my lines match a point layer. My problem is that when I go to build the topology, I'm never given the option to include the points even though the feature class is in the same feature dataset as the lines. Why can't I include points in a topology?

Mapping Center Answer:

When you create the new topology rule, input the point feature class first, then use a rule such as "Must be covered by" rule and then enter the polygon feature class second.  You might be doing it in the opposite order (inputting the poloygon first) in which case you do not get an option to choose the point feature class.
