How do I convert a line (Geometry Type) shapefile into a polygon? I digitized a line (city limits) but want to make into a solid polygon.

Use the Feature to Polygon tool
If you have attributes to manage, look into the option for using a point feature class as the basis for the output polygon's attributes.
