Hi, could you tell me if there a known method for matching MUTCD codes in an attribute table to the symbols representing those codes within the transportation section of the symbology list?

I would suggest creating a coded value domain for the field in your data that contains the MUTCD codes, and the domain's description values would contain the symbol names--which would allow you to use the Match Symbols To Style unique values symbology with your data.

It sounds like I have a similar issue with matching a sign inventory to its appropriate symbology. Since our sign inventory description does not perfectly match the description in the ESRI Transportation Style file, I was only able to match a handful of sign types to their symbology. I need to be able to match signs according to their MUTCD sign code to their appropriate symbol, preferrably from the ESRI Transportation Style file. Any suggestions?
