hi all
how to geoprocess my jpg file in arcmap ( arcgis 9.2 ) and how it will be displayed in arcmap window with the coordinates

JPEG files are treated as raster datasets. In order for it to work in geographic space you it will need to have a world file. If there isn't one, you can set up one using the georeferencing toolbar. See this help topic for how to do that:
