Symbolizing using scripting

Is it possible to script symbology tasks. I have 20+ maps of the same area to symbolize, where values of features change in the maps.

This should be possible using ArcGIS 10. We haven't tried it yet on the Mapping Center Team, so we'd recommend posting this on the new ArcGIS 10 resource center forums--there's one for cartography that would be a good place to raise this: http://resources.arcgis.com/content/arcgis-desktop-forums
