I would like to know how labels are placed inside a frame in the layout of a map? in ArcGis 9.2.
Thank you.

Mapping Center Answer:

This is easy! Use the Grid properties of the data frame. In the Help for ArcMap, search for the topic “Grids and Graticules”. There is a topic that is a quick tour though the Grids and Graticules Wizard. Note that you can set the labels with an offset which can be either positive or negative – you can use this option to set your coordinate labels outside or inside the data frame, as you wish.
