Group Labels by address

Hi there,
I was hoping to get some tips on making effective labels with geocoded data.
I've been requested to make a map of hydro meters and to display meter #s as labels. The meters were geocoded and some addresses contain many meters. Is it possible to group labels (meter#) by address and display all meters per address in a group label? I was thinking of a leader line with brackets containing all the meter #s at each address. I was hoping to limit the amount of manual moving of anno. It's a small scale map 1:65,000 and some areas are very cramped. Any other suggestions would be great.

Mapping Center Answer:

There is no easy way to solve this problem--essentially whenever you've got multiple dwelling units with the same street address you get a stack of points. We've written a couple of blog entries that address the generic form of this problem--hopefully these will help you find a solution.

If you have the table set up so that each address has one row and then each meter has a different field, or the meters are in the same field, you could work at stacking these values. If there are multiple rows for each address you’re not going to be able to have the labels for the meters recognize each other.
