displaying service layers in arcmap

I have map services via ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 and just recently installed service pack 2 and post install. The services are loadable and viewable in ArcExplorer and rest services. The one place I would like to view the services in is ArcMap. In ArcMap 9.3.1 with SP2, the services can be added and are listed in the table of contents. I can see the symbology and view properties but I cannot view the data in either map or layout view. The symbology for the layer is in the legend when I add it. So everything is there but the actual viewing of the data. The service works fine when I view it on the computer ArcGIS Server is installed in. It doesn't work anywhere else. Any ideas of what the problem might be and solution?

Mapping Center Answer:

I have tested out your services in ArcMap 9.3.1 and the symbology is not visible either. The features are there though, as they can be selected and identified. This sounds like a bug that Tech Support would be better equipped to help you with.
