Hi,

I have a scenario wherein I display multiple pie charts with kpi values, the problem is they overlap each other when there is a zoom out & this makes it hard to see all of them at zoom out, I was wondering if I can cluster these pie charts so that I can see the total kpi values with a single piechart when zoomed out. Basically I want to implement the custom clustering using piecharts.. Im developing using silverlight.NET , kindly help.

The best way to do this is to create a new map for each of the scales at which the user will see it when zoomed out.  This is a technique we commonly use when making maps for the Web that will be seen at multiple scales. Here is a blog entry we wrote about how to set up your ArcMap document to do this:

Working with layers and scale ranges: Tips for organizing the Table of Contents

Using scale ranges and group layers you can easily manage what is shown on the map at the various zoom levels when the map is displayed online.
