Road Labelling: does not seem close textbackground.

I'm working with ArcGIS 9.2 Desktop and trying to create a "mxd" file. But when ArcMap shows the map (mxd) sometimes appears Roads Labels in a wrong way. It seems like the label text never ends and then the textbackground doesn't close it. The Text Symbol settings are in the files attached.

Please, I've tried to change everything in "text background" properties but nothing changes.

Mapping Center Answer:

One thing to do is to double check your label or expression. You may have a problem with some sort of strange character or function in the label that is trying to be drawn. For example, you might have trailing spaces or a tab at the end of the value that is in the field you are using to label. Or you might have some sort of problem with the label expression if you are using one. If you are concatenating fields or using a VBA script in the expression, you might have introduced something that causes the label to appear erroneously.

If the label or label expression is not the problem, check the units that you are using to define all the label parameters. Maybe something in map units is causing the problem.
