ESRI 2010 UC San Diego 1.5 hour session on mapping

Hello. Last summer I attended an excellent workshop at the UC in San Diego, in July. The session was totally one where the 2 ESRI presenters transformed the look of a map and it was fantastic. They worked with transparency, symbology, and many other elements in order to make a map come alive and tell a different story. They mentioned that the dataset and the directions for what they were walking us through would be posted on the Ask a Cartographer page - but I have no idea where to look for it. I know this isn't much for you to go on, but how will I find this lesson within the Mapping Center? If it helps, it was 2 women who were presenting! Thank you. Angela.Milakovic@bismarckstate.edu

Mapping Center Answer:

We are updating this a bit and will soon post it on our Maps page (probably in the next two weeks) but for the time being you can download the file we used the previous year off our Presentations page here on Mapping Center -- scroll down to "The One Minute Cartographer" session from the 2009 Esri UC to download the Zip file for the map.
