Measure angle tool

I would like to measure the angle (azimuthal or anything that I can translate) of a lineation visible on a geologic map, a NAIP image would also be nice.

Good question! And a great idea! But no, there is no tool for this right now in the core software, so you should definitely post this on the ArcGIS Ideas page if it has not already been submitted. And if it has, vote to support it so that it receives higher priority!

I just found out about this -- if you have an ArcEditor of ArcInfo level license, you can use the COGO Report command to measure the angle between two lines. Here is the link to the online help: Reporting COGO descriptions
