Entering Pre-Defined Shapes

How can you enter a pre-defined shape (square, circle, rectangle etc) in ArcGIS 10? By pre-defined I mean if I need a 10 acres square, is there a way a I can enter in either distance X distance or an area and a square will be drawn to those dimensions? There seem to be a lot of round about ways to do that, create a graphic and then alter the height and width to get the shape you want, but I want to be able to just type in an area or distance X distance and be done. Anything out there?

You can create circles, ellipses, and rectangles that are a defined by coordinates or parameters such as the length of the sides for the rectangle or the radius of the circle. Here are the links to the online help:
