Nested Reference Globe does not have transparent background when exported

Dear Mapping Centre,

Would you have any idea why a nested data frame such as a locator globe would be able to appear with a transparent background in ArcGIS layout view, but when exported to JPEG appears which a white background.

See attached with the exported JPEG on the left and the layout view on the right.

Thank you for your help. Unfortunately the suggestions in knowledge base didn't seem to help.
Try this instead - georeference the image posted by Aileen Buckley on May 19 2011 1:33PM
Try this -- export the globe map as an image (e.g., tiff or jpg) and then add it to ArcMap as a raster data set. To get the image of the globe placed where you want, use the georeferencing tools. Here is a link to that help topic:
