I have a feature layer in my .mxd that has quite detailed symbology. I want to keep all the symbology on the map itself but only wish to display one symbol and label with the Legend on my map. Is there a way I can do this without adding the feature a second time?
Mapping Center Answer:
You will need to add a second layer to your Table of Contents with the one symbol used - then when you insert the legend include this as a legend item but not the other layer.
