Please see attached file. Relates to previous queries re how to re-size my data frames without reducing size of maps in order to get rid of wide margins between map & data frame which is causing data frames to overlap when I put the maps side by side on one page. Thank you.

Mapping Center Answer:

The three additional data frames all have a fixed scale, but that shouldn't be a problem. It just means when you resize the data frame the scale won't change, but the extent will, which is what you want in this case. I don't see anything in the data frame or layer properties that explain why the data won't draw when you reduce the width of the data frame. And without the data I can't reproduce what you have described. I think it is time to go to Esri Tech Support so that they can work through the problem with your system configuration and your data.
