What is the Vertical Datum used for the ArcGIS online US Topo Maps?
Mapping Center Answer:
Because the vertical datum is based on the datum of the data originally used, you can't tell unless the particular area/features have metadata, or you comparing values with known control points or benchmarks. It's even harder to tell than the horizontal coordinates.
