Hello,
We are working on a new dashboard for a web mapping application and would like to try out the feel of the Light Gray Canvas symbology. Is there a way we could obtain an mxd of this basemap?
Thank you.
Mapping Center Answer:
We will be creating a template of the light gray canvas map symbology in the future but currently we cannot give you a firm release. In the meantime, if you load the light gray basemap into ArcMap you can the use the eye dropper tool to determine color values used for specific features.
You can use the Eye Dropper tool to identify the RGB values of any color on your map and save the color to your personal style. From the Customize menu in ArcMap, choose Customize Mode to open the Customize dialog box. Click the Commands tab and navigate to the Page Layout category. Drag the Eye Dropper tool onto any ArcMap toolbar and you can click on any color to get the RGB vlues.
