I want to create a style file most of them are simply fill. I have already designed the CMYK color scheme in Excel(4 column express C,M,Y,K respectively). My question is that is it possible to create a style file based on the Excel file.

Thanks.

Mapping Center Answer:

There is no direct import of the Excel table contents into an ArcGIS style. ArcGIS styles were based on Microsoft Access Tables for version 9.3 and earlier. In version 10 of ArcGIS, the schema (data structure) is more complex for the symbols--allowing them to be tagged and searched. You current option is to create new fills for your color scheme on a one-by-one basis.
