layout save path and disclaimer

In days of old (9.x) there was a vb script to add the path and MXD name to the low left of our map layouts. Also there was a third part tool to add disclaimers. Now in Arc 10 I saw a tool that did that for you as well as adding disclaimers and other repetitive tasks. The problem is I need to know the name of the tool again please.

It's a great tool; however, I am as yet unable to activate the Auto Update function. (I have checked the Auto Update box). Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
