Split thousands of routes at intersections

Hi!

I've created thousands of routes using Network Analyst. Now, I want to calculate the number of routes going through each road segment. In ArcGIS 9.x, I was able to convert all my routes to polylines, merge them all, use the Explode Multi-part Feature tool and then make my analysis. The Explode tool would leave me with only segments cut at intersections. Now, with ArcGIS 10, when I explode my merged layer, the result is exactly the table I started with. It recreates all route, without spliting them. Is there a way to do it?
