Map Data
My company has purchased some rectified aerial photos back in 2006. However, I can’t use them with other spatial layers in ArcMap, one of the reasons being that I can only view them when “Zooming to Image Resolution”. The image supply provided some image viewing software called MrSIDGeoViewer. I can view them using the software without a problem. I also tried exporting them as TIFFs thinking it will cause any change. However, I’m still faced with the problem. Please, help.
Thanking you in advance.
Mapping Center Answer:
It sounds as though the pyramids for the images are corrupt. You can easily recreate them using the Build Pyramids tool. This is found in ArcToolbox in the Data Management toolbox > Raster toolset > Raster Properties tools.
