How can you bring over files from arcview 3.3 and use them with arcview 9.2?

Mapping Center Answer:

There are a couple of things you can do.  First is in ArcMap's file menu, there is a choice called import from ArcView project--that will read the ArcView project file and find all the objects that have an analogous object in ArcGIS and then create those objects in the ArcMap document.

We also have a technical article in the ESRI Knowledge Base called How to import ArcView palette files (.avp) into ArcMap.
