Your help is appreciated.
I have latitude & longitude information for several locations (i.e., buildings) in an Excel spreadsheet, and would like to place them on a map. Would you tell me what steps are involved?

Generically, we call your data "X,Y Coordinate Data". We've got a help topic that covers how to do this.
