How do I draw a base for my grid? I have made a 3d visualization for my grid, using the base height command. There is a script or tool to do this?
Thanks
Mapping Center Answer:
Here’s a method you can use:
- Have a line feature class for the perimeter.
- Set the layer’s Base Heights to be on the surface / TIN / DEM (Screenshot 1).
- Set the layer’s Extrusion to "...a value that features are extruded to" and set the base minimum elevation (Screenshot 2).
The results are shown in Screenshot 3.
