Labeling the Default Null Values

April 30 2009 | 0 comments

How would I format a label expression to display a FindLabel = "insertstringhere" by selecting "true" null values. When you open the attributes tables for the layer you are setting the label for, it initially displays: . This is the default null format, which isn't really recognized by the label expression format of: ([START DATE] = ""). When you click a cell in the attributes table, and click "off" that cell, it makes the cell blank, creating the "ideal" scenario for the previous expression, and the result will display what you want. My question is: what do I enter after the ([START DATE]......) to get the default to display what I want without having to click every cell to make them blank. Thanks.

The attached file has the answer.  Unfortuantely, the formatting in the text does not allow us to post it directly on Mapping Center.
