Transfer Cartographic Representation Feature Class

I have two feature classes, each in a separate GDB that are nearly identical except that one has a number of representation feature classes. Is there a practical way to transfer the reps from one to the other?

Yes, it would be entirely practical to use the Add Representation Tool to get the task done. When you’re adding a representation to a feature class it will allow you to designate an existing representation to use (this is based on an existing layer). In this way you could create a representation in feature class 2 that is identical to that in feature class 1. The Tool is in the ArcToolbox under Cartography Tools, it is called Add Representation.
