Local Identifier in DS Map Book

I'm not sure if you've worked with DS Map Book to create a map series but I have a question about the local identifier. When I create the local identifier, I expect the grid cell being identified to be in the center of the data frame, however it seems to shift on each map page. The scale seems to change when you go from page to page. The grid cell being identified will most often border the data frame's side, when there is definitely another grid cell beyond the border which can't be seen. I've attached a screenshot showing what I mean. To the south of the identified cell (in grey) there is definitely a grid cell. Is there a way to keep the grid cell in the center of the data frame. Thanks.

Mapping Center Answer:

Sorry--we haven't used DSMapBook to that extent--mainly we just know what ought to be possible.  I'll leave this post public in case others see it and know the answer.  I've done this in MPS Atlas, but not in DS Mapbook.
